We provide a variety of rigorous academic programs that prepare our students whether they plan to enroll in college, enlist in the military, or use trade skills in the workforce. In addition, we offer an array of pathway options including our Collegiate High program in conjunction with St Johns River State College, over fifteen Advanced Placement courses, and the largest Career and Technical Education program in Clay County.  Our students are able to earn industry certifications in Computer Systems and Technology, Agriculture and Agriscience, Automotive Repair, Automotive Body, Drafting, Digital Design, Electricity, TV Production, Early Childhood Development, Nursing, Carpentry, Digital Information Technology, and Culinary Arts.

Middleburg High School is a family.  As a Bronco we expect students to put in their best effort everyday to grow as a learner to reach their goals whether it is college, the military or a vocational career.  Please know that the MHS staff is dedicated to ensuring that every student receives instruction that meets their individual academic needs in a safe and supportive school environment. Our staff takes great pride in interactions with students and families. Building positive relationships with all Bronco students, families and staff is of great importance to me as well. Assistant Principal, Debbie Curry

Dear Parents and Community Members,

I would like to take this time to introduce myself as one of the Assistant Principals at Middleburg High School.  I am honored to be working with such a tremendous staff as well as the amazing young men and women in this school.  As a military wife, I have been fortunate to work as a behavior site coach, teacher, interventionist, central office staff and assistant principal at many different grade levels throughout the country.  My background in Exceptional Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership have helped me to grow as an educator.

The success of every student is our priority at Middleburg High School; the families and community members are an integral part of this success. We work to ensure that all students are receiving instruction that meets their individual needs in a safe and supportive environment.  Our commitment to teaching and learning coupled with building positive relationships with all Middleburg students, families and staff  is a fundamental part meeting these needs.

I am looking forward to welcoming back the returning students and families as well as meeting the new students and families . I am honored to be a part of the team working to prepare students to be leaders in the community and world.

Thank you,

Debbie Curry

Assistant Principal, Miranda Knox

Parents and Community Members,

I am so blessed to work with the students, families, and faculty here at MHS. My name is Miranda Knox and I am so happy to be a part of the team since 2020. Most of all I am thrilled to impact students in a positive way on a daily basis.

I look forward to meeting many of you at events throughout the year as you support your child and the school they attend. I can’t wait to get to know your child and support them in any way I can.

I would like to give a little background on myself. I was born in Jacksonville and moved to Clay County when I was a child. I am a proud product of the Clay County School District. After High School, I played Softball on a scholarship at St. Petersburg College for two years and moved back home to finish my Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from the University of North Florida. I started working in Clay County as a Physical Education Teacher at Wilkinson Junior High School in 2012, where I was also a coach and the Athletic Director. I worked 1 year at Keystone Heights Jr./Sr. High School as the Dean of Student Culture. Finally I started my time at the Assistant Principal of Middleburg High School in 2020.

I am so happy to welcome your young scholar to Middleburg High School and hope that they use me as a resource to help them accomplish their goals in life. I look forward to working with you all and hope that we all have a wonderful school year.
